I believe the most meaningful portraits come from presence, not pressure.
Every session is designed to feel calm, unhurried, and attuned to your dog’s unique personality and needs.
Rather than asking dogs to perform, I create space for them to simply be themselves. We move slowly, follow their lead, and allow the session to unfold naturally, honoring who they are in this moment of life.
This approach is especially supportive for senior dogs, sensitive dogs, and those who may need a little extra patience and understanding.

Portrait sessions include planning, the photography session itself, and a personal viewing and ordering appointment.
Most clients choose to preserve their images through custom wall art, albums, or a combination of both. Finished artwork is purchased separately, allowing you to build a collection that feels meaningful and right for your home.

While my work is centered on dogs and the bonds they share with the people who love them, I also photograph a limited number of high school seniors each year.
These sessions are approached with the same intention and care, calm, guided, and deeply personal. Rather than posed or performative portraits, senior sessions focus on authenticity, confidence, and capturing who they are in this season of life.
I also photograph equine portraits and select personal projects that align with my artistic vision and storytelling approach.

My Dog Can’t be off Leash, is this ok??
Yes! Absolutely! Most of the dogs we photograph are on a leash. Leashes not only keep your dog safe, but are often required in many locations. I retouch out the leashes in the final portraits
What if my dog doesn't behave perfectly?
Perfect behavior isn't expected or needed. Sessions are designed to follow your dog's lead, allowing space for movement, curiosity, and rest. Some of the most meaningful images come from these natural, unplanned moments.
How do I choose a location?
We'll discuss possible session locations during our planning call. The general categories we select from are woodland, beach, urban or studio. Don't worry, I will help you choose the perfect spot, keeping in mind both the look you'd like to create and your dog's comfort level.
Do you offer digital files?
Yes. Digital files are included for the portraits purchased, for sharing and personal use. However, the heart of this experience is the creation of tangible art work, photographs designed to be seen, lived with and enjoyed every day.
What if I don't know what I want to order?
That's completely normal. You don't need to decide anything in advance. During your viewing appointment you'll be guided through your images and artwork options in a relaxed, unhurried way.
How much should I expect to invest?
Investment varies depending on how you choose to enjoy your images. Some clients begin with a single statement piece, while others create a collection that includes wall art and an album. You'll be guided through all options during your viewing appointment, so decisions feel clear, thoughtful and never rushed.
