I have had the honor of photographing these two amazing dogs three times now! They are multi-year winners of the calendar contest to benefit Gals Best Pal and they are two awesome dogs!

Meet Layla!

Layla is the first-born and she makes it known. Layla’s parents got her at just 8.5 weeks old and just when they needed it. From the start, they knew she was special. She has a big personality, can be so stubborn, and hates the mornings. Being half Berner, half Norwegian Elkhound, she is a true snow dog and refuses to come inside during the winter, even when it is zero degrees out. She cackles like a hyena when she is happy. While she was not so happy to have a little sister at first, her and Paisley are best friends and play like maniacs. She is a true soul dog.

Meet Paisley!

Paisley is a rescue from the streets of Houston. She found herself on the euthansia list when she was rescued by her amazing foster mom, Kim, she had no fur because of mange and was malnourished. Thanks to Caitie's Foster Fam, Paisley was able to get the care she needed. After two months of healing, she was transported up to Massachusetts with Gal's Best Pal. Paisley has the goofiest personality. She LOVES her toys, a warm bed to sleep in, treats/food, but she especially loves her big sister, Layla. Paisley is notorious for talking back and has to greet everyone at the door with a toy in her mouth. Paisley’s parents feel so lucky to have her in their lives.
